Tribhuvandas Foundation has learnt from experience that de-addiction is difficult and prevention of addiction is easy. Without investing adequate efforts in prevention of addiction (rather than just de-addiction) the pool of addicts continues to increase.
For this reason, since 2012-13 Tribhuvandas Foundation has started working vigorously to prevent addiction. Last year, Tribhuvandas Foundation went to all the schools of all the villages where Tribhuvandas Foundation works – first in the month of July and then for a follow-up in the month of December. Tribhuvandas Foundation contacted around 160,000 students where the response was very encouraging.
